Movember: Get Ready To Let Those Handlebar Mustaches Grow!

Have you been itching to grow that mustache out again, but the wife has put the stops on it? Now is the time and it is for a great cause.
November has officially been changed to Movember to raise money and awareness of an important men's health issue, prostate cancer. Mo is an Australian term for the mustache. The Movember Foundation has raised over $29 million dollars since its inception in Australia in 2004. It has partnered with the United States Prostate Cancer Foundation this year to get the word out about the cause.
Women are not to be left out. Though you might get excited at the thought of not waxing the upper lip, women are actually encouraged to recruit and support men this month.
I was shocked to find out that prostate cancer is the most common form of non-skin cancer in the United States killing 28,000 men a year. I have to admit. I love this idea of getting the word out. It is creative and something men can get excited about. What man likes to shave? Now they have an excuse to skip the razor. At the end of the month, you can throw your own party and the men can compete for prizes.
