I love reading arrest stories because inevitably every once in a while you get one that just makes you laugh out loud. Some criminals just do not think. So was the case in Australia when a man called to report his home was broken into through a window. Seems sad at first. But then the man elaborated on what was stolen to the police saying that pieces of his cannibus, also known as marijuana, plant.
I can't help but imagine the police getting a good laugh out of all of this as they filed for the drug warrant. They found six large cannabis plants growing in two bedrooms, police said in a statement. The man was charged with cultivating cannabis for sale.
What is probably the most hilarious part of this story is the statement released from the police about the situation.
"Members of the public are reminded that the growing of cannabis is not only illegal but can also attract other criminal activity such home break-ins and assaults," the statement said.
I love it. I guess with the I.Q. of the criminal that was just arrested, the public might need a reminder.
It amazes me the nerve of some people. It is ok for people to commit a crime but the moment someone hurts them, they report the illegal activity. Get a clue.
My guess is that the man was probably high when he reported the illegal activity, but you have to love the story.
